Classical ballet, pas de deux & repertoire coaching Elena Poryvkina is a highly experienced teacher who spent many years as Senior Lecturer at the Department of Classical and Pas de Deux Dance of the Vaganova Ballet Academy. A former principal soloist at Askold Makarov's Academic Theatre and in the USA, she has danced leading roles in Swan Lake, Le Corsaire, Spartacus, Raymonda and more. During her years at the Academy she served as répétiteur in charge of works by Nacho Duato and Serge Lifar. She currently works as répétiteur at the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre and, from 2026, has also returned to the Vaganova Ballet Academy to teach intermediate-level classes. Character dance, historical dance, classical ballet & variations. Yulia Kamilova teaches at the Vaganova Ballet Academy, is a current soloist at the Mikhailovsky Theatre, and continues postgraduate research. She currently teaches character dance at Vaganova, valued for her strong teaching skill. She demonstrates movements herself alongside detailed explanation, so children quickly grasp the "character" of each movement. For classical ballet and variations, she also gives valuable advice on expression, not just technique.

Classical Repertoire & Stage Expression
Sofia Gumerova — Honored Artist of Russia, principal soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre (1995–2017). Lead roles in "Giselle," "La Bayadère," "Swan Lake," "Spartacus," "The Legend of Love," "Carmen Suite," and works by Balanchine and Fokine. Graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy (Lyudmila Kovalyova's class). Now teaches acting/stage expression at the Eifman Ballet Academy, and gives masterclasses across Russia, Japan, Taiwan and Europe. She knows the full classical repertoire, so she can coach students through any variation and teach them to convey genuine emotion on stage — blending technique with stage presence to bring out each dancer's individuality.

She spent many years as a soloist at the Novosibirsk Theatre, dancing numerous character roles. She now teaches the Academy's junior classes and knows how to safely build a child's body from the ground up — correct muscle use, posture and core awareness.
