Before the tour, I was wary of continuing ballet classes due to health problems, but I sent my child to ballet school in the hope that she would experience the atmosphere and ballet in the real world at least once and reflect on it. I hoped it would be a life-changing experience.
Having learned about life in a real Russian city, which is different from what the Japanese media tells us, and having studied ballet from different angles through the same program as in ballet schools, I understood more about the importance of regular basic practice and the value of variations. My child returned with good spirits and inspiration to take another step forward.

It was a great learning experience to see the soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre in person.

I was 12 years old this time and eager to start the program, but I never once felt homesick and enjoyed every day. Thanks to the classes and rigorous instruction, I returned home with a noticeably slimmer upper body and thighs. The instructor at the studio even told me that I was slimmer! I am very pleased with the classes. I plan to repeat the class next time when I am of an age to study abroad. Thank you very much for your help.

The dormitory was clean. There was nothing inconvenient about the laundry, toilets, or showers. It was also good that there was a studio in the dormitory, which was safe.

We have been informed that both sisters have worked 300% seriously on the full program, and we are filled with gratitude for the wonderful and precious teachers and staff who taught them!

I would like to thank you very much for all the help you have given me. I believe that these three sparkling weeks in Russia, the home of ballet, where she had wonderful lessons in a first-class school with first-class teachers, where she encountered ballet and herself, will be a treasure in her life.
It is also a treasure for us, for the family that surrounds us.
We also had a professional photographer with us who took many beautiful pictures, and she had a lot of fun going to the theater, ballet, sightseeing, walking, shopping, and so on.
I saw the information about Vaganova Summer and the summer camp on Instagram a long time ago, and I got the impression that you posted daily updates during the camp. You have a rich program and generous followers. I am very happy that my wish for my daughter to attend the camp one day has come true.

At first, I was nervous — could I really do ballet intensively for a whole week? Would I be okay without my mom, handling everything on my own?
But the teachers from the Vaganova Academy were kind and fun, and they taught us ballet manners and technique in such a warm way that my nerves faded, and I truly enjoyed learning ballet for the entire week.
All the classes and teachers were fantastic — Russian language, floor ballet, classical, historical dance, contemporary, master classes, character dance — every single one was so much fun.
The interpreters were also excellent, explaining things in a way that was easy to understand, which helped me learn quickly.
I learned how Russian is pronounced and spoken, and even picked up a few words! Thanks to the Russian language and ballet etiquette instruction, I can now say a little in Russian.
Thank you so much to all the teachers and to Andrei-sensei for organizing the Vaganova Summer Camp.
Thanks also to all the staff who guided us and thought about us Vaganova kids with such care.
It was such a fulfilling and fun experience that I fell even more in love with ballet, and the week flew by.
When it was time to leave, I felt sad and wished I could spend more time with the teachers and my friends.

My daughter really enjoyed the character and contemporary classes.
This was her first time living away from her parents — part excitement, part nervousness — but she only called once, and the rest of the time she did her best on her own.
At the final performance, she looked like a different person — more polished, more confident.
She came home with better posture and a deeper understanding of both her strengths and weaknesses.
She was able to express her thoughts clearly, and made many new friends.
Though I was initially worried about her staying in a hotel alone, she managed it well, and this experience will surely become a foundation for her future ballet journey.
Before going, she was anxious about living away from home, but once she arrived, she quickly made friends, and each day was fun and flew by.
Top-level teachers from the Vaganova Academy offered detailed instruction, with live piano accompaniment, original choreography, and even a surprise guest appearance by Natasha.
It was such a luxurious and unforgettable week.
She didn’t want to leave, and the final performance deeply moved me.
Meeting so many like-minded peers was another highlight.
She says she would love to join again.

I especially enjoyed ballet, character, and historical classes with Yulia-sensei, and the contemporary class with Elena-sensei.
The knowledge and advice I received from the academy teachers will help me continue to grow in my future lessons.
Spending a full week learning directly from the Vaganova Academy allowed me to re-experience and deepen my understanding of the Vaganova method.
I also gained new knowledge in anatomy and Russian.
The camp was full of opportunities to make new friends and connect with others.

Yulia-sensei was amazing.
It seems like my pointe work improved a lot.
I became more interested in Russian language and the Vaganova Academy.
I made many friends from other regions, which was very inspiring.
In the body conditioning classes, I learned how the body works, and it helped me connect movement with understanding.
I had fun learning historical dance and Russian for the first time, and I want to continue learning more.
In classical ballet, I received advice not only on what my usual teacher tells me but also on things I hadn’t noticed, which helped me improve.

Even in genres I had never tried before, the teachers explained everything clearly and made it fun, which was great.
In the ballet classes, I was happy to learn the Vaganova method properly and receive detailed attention from the teachers.
In anatomy and floor ballet, I learned how to use my body better, and it became easier to dance.
Before, I used my outer thighs too much, but thanks to floor ballet, I started to engage my inner thighs more.
It even feels like my legs became slimmer and more beautiful!
I also learned how to properly hold my seat and do en dehors, and I could finally feel it in my body.
By talking and interacting with new friends I had never met before, I improved my communication skills.
In the contemporary group piece, even though I’m not confident in expressing my opinions, I was able to speak up and share my ideas.
